Housing Authority of Cheraw (CHA) currently administers approximately 250 public housing units and 200 Housing Choice Voucher units.

MTW Status

CHA was selected as an MTW agency in 2021 through the MTW Flexibility for Smaller PHAs Cohort of the MTW Expansion, which was authorized by the 2016 MTW Expansion Statute. For more information on this statute please click here to contact our office. CHA's participation in the MTW program is through the end of its Fiscal Year 2042.
